| A Formative kiln site (ca. 1200-700 B.C.) for pottery making was found between 1985 and 1990 in the Poma Archaeological Reserve at Batán Grande in Northern Peru. On the picture the roof of the kiln is partly reconstructed. Clay strata can be seen in back, different kinds of fuel lie in front. | |
